behind the scenes.
This project was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve worked on. I was accepted into the Digital Film Program at 3dsense Media School, where our team had six months to create a short film. Although we initially explored a 3D approach, we ultimately shifted to 2D in order to play to the team’s strengths.
After pitching several concepts, my story was selected for its relatability and strong emotional core. The narrative centers on a universally familiar moment of stress, which informed the tone, pacing, and character design throughout the film.

Production began with animation blocking in Maya. I designed the mother character, voiced the child, and was primarily responsible for clean line work, in-between animation, and refining motion to improve overall fluidity.
The goal was to create a lighthearted, comedic short that resonated with audiences. I’m proud of the final result and grateful for the collaborative experience and learning opportunities this project provided.
